The Third Generation, {but without proven links to Giles}

1. Charles Poulton who was born in 1616 in Northhamptonshire, and died on 7 Feb 1690 in Newgate Prison, London. Charles became a Roman Catholic priest on 3 Dec 1754.

2. Ferdinando Poulton of Desborough, Northampton.

Ferdinando married Mary Giffard daughter of John Giffard of Blackladies, Stafford and Catherine Hawkins.

They had at least 2 sons, the second being:

	3	M	i	Andrew Poulton who was born in 1654. He died on 5 Aug 1710 at St Germains. Andrew became a Roman Catholic priest on 31 Oct 1674 at St Omer in France.

3. Ferdinand Poulton.

He married Julia.

They had:

	1	M	i	Giles Poulton who was born on 7 Sept 1694, and died on 3 Jan 1752 in London. Giles started life in Northamptonshire and he became a Roman Catholic priest on 8 Apr 1719 at St Omer in France.

4. Giles Poulton.

He married Mary Reeve.

They had:

	1	M	i	William Poulton who was born in 1678 in Warwickshire, and died on 25 June 1726. William became a Roman Catholic priest on 2 June 1703 in Rome.
